We are thrilled to welcome Robert Yune to The Fourth River as guest fiction editor for the fall semester! Robert has long been a friend of magazine, and will be selecting work for our Spring 2019 print issue.
Robert Yune is the 2018 Emerging Writer Lecturer at Gettysburg College. His fiction has been published in The Kenyon Review, Avery, and The Los Angeles Review, among others. In 2008, he received a fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. His debut novel Eighty Days of Sunlight was nominated for the 2017 International DUBLIN Literary Award; other nominees that year include Salman Rushdie, Margaret Atwood, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Jonathan Franzen. Yune’s debut story collection Impossible Children won the 2017 Mary McCarthy Prize and will be published in 2019 by Sarabande Books.
